How do i prepare soft wheat berries?

I was sent a bag of soft wheat berries by a friend and i need to know how to use it.

I was a chef in Canada for 20 years and love to cook with them, I treat them just like rice, you can speed up the process by soaking them in hot water for 30 minutes.

Then cook them in stock, use them in soup, I also make pilaf and risottos with them, there alot like Italian Arborio rice, except not as starchy, you can cook them in chicken sotck mix them with the same ingredients as for turkey stuffing, and use them to stuff chickens, turkey, pork loins, fish or make croquettes with it, mix cooked meat an egg, some breadcrumbs and make into balls or patties, drip in an egg wash and dredge in breadcrumbs, fry them and serve with tomato sauce or mushroom gravy.

Even cooking it like oatmeal, with milk and serving it as a hot breakfast cereal.
