They must have some sort of different characteristics or traits...
Indiana got hold of a bit of information, and then got a bit mixed up.
Here is what she/he is (probably) referring to. They did statistics on the basis of how many dog bites were reported that needed medical intervention, and compaired the different colours in a given breed.
Amongst the labradors, the ones with the
HIGHEST incidence of bites are the yellow labs,
then second highest are the black labs,
the chocolote have the lowest incidence.
This result is already the "cleaned up" version, that is the different numbers in each colour dog population has been taken into account.
What I found most interesting is, that the same "pattern" seems to apply for Cocker Spaniels.
The Golden ones have the highest "bite rate",
then the black,
and the lowest are the two-coloured.
So, there clearly IS a difference between the colours. So far this is only bare factual information, the reason why is still being researched.
