First Strike
MTG:If a creature has trample and first strike will it do damage to both?
For example: a 16/2 trample first strike gets blocks by 2-1/1s, will the tough guy deal 16 to both first before he gets hurt or first strike to only one creature?
First strike doesn't change how the creature deals damage, only when. The big guy will first deal a minimum of 1 to one creature, then a minimum of 1 to the other, and the rest can trample through. The only difference first strike makes is that the two blockers wil be dead before they can hit back.
