How to make a video appear black and white except for one chosen color? Sony Vegas Pro?
I have seen done before on online videos, but I never figured it out! I want to make a video black and white except for one chosen color. So if I had a blue cup and multi colored surrounding, I would only want to the cup and other blue elements to be in color in the video. Is there an effect in Sony Vegas Pro 8 that can do this? If not, what can I use?

Yes there is an effect especially for this.
Under Video FX , go to Color Corrector(secondary) and under the presets scroll down to the one "Desaturate all but reds"
I know red isn't the color you want, so under the 'limit saturation' slider play around a bit with the high, low, smoothness and such.You can also do this with the limit hue, though it isn't nesacarry.
