Can i go pro at Golf? Realistically.?
Im 15 years old with a 3.5 gpa and have been golfing for 9 months. My handicap is currently a 5 at my country club, and yes, im very natural at the game. I drive about 270 and hit my irons far and pure. Im only 5'10'', 145 but i hit it far. I also play on my HIGH SCHOOL time and we are top 5 in SOUTHERN CAL. Im going to play more tournaments this year for SCPGA (about 20+). Since i practice everyday at my CC, do i have a good shot at going pro if im a + handicap within 1-2 years?
My clubs:
TMADE R9, Burner fairways, Titleist AP2s, Tmade wedges, Scotty Cameron putter.
realistically going pro in 1-2 years say dropping out of high school like sean o'hair i would say is a long shot. especially with the financial trouble that would put u in. deffinetly keep in high school, keep playing for ur team and get lessons o na consistent basis fro ma pga professional. getting steady lessons will improve ur game greatly and even the pros have coaches. if u got that much money really invested in clubs i would imagine u got around 3 grand there invested then that shows u really want to excel at the game but remember there r lots of kids like u and that is y u need to get to college on a good golf team, and show the entire country what ur made of. get ur high school to some state championships and share ur knowledge with ur teamates and help them get better bc in the long run that will only open more doors for u. if u can get ur school to wi na state title in golf ur assured to get into a good college and if u could win a national title with ur college then well ur almost a garunteed top 100 pga player. but even tiger went to college and played in europe for a little while b4 getting onto the pga tour so u have some time left before its a real chance, but u r lookign good thus far keep it going.
