Question about an industrial piercing!?

I had mine pierced about 8 months ago and it's pretty healed. No bubbles or keloids. I'm just wondering if it would be okay to change it to a different type of jewelry. Something like titanium, or do I have to strictly stick to surgical steel? Anything insights would be awesome!

You can switch to titanium, some people have had better experience healing piercings with titanium then stainless steel.

At 8 months you could change it..it would be best if you wait 12 months though. If you really want to change it now it would be safer going to a piercer, just in case you irritate it by changing it yourself. I've had one of mine for 3 years and it still gets irritated from time to time..
